Here are a few places we love around Pittsburgh, Sewickley, and the North Hills.
The Strip District
Kind of like a Little Italy, Chinatown, Koreatown, and mini-downtown all blended into one. Pick up a pepperoni roll and some pierogies while you wander.
Our Favorite Local Pick
Walk around Sewickley. Super charming, boutiquey, and right at the center of our church and reception venue. Mediterra has the best cup of coffee. We love this area!
Mount Washington
Take in the view — this one's highly weather contingent. If it's cold, icy, or snowy, stay away. The roads up there get treacherous, and you're better off walking to the Strip instead. But if we're blessed with good weather, it's a view definitely worth seeing.
Duquesne Incline
Ride up and get the classic postcard view of the city. It's also a great alternative way to reach the top of Mount Washington — even in the winter weather.
Saint Anthony's Chapel
Tucked away in Troy Hill, this small chapel holds the largest collection of Catholic relics outside of Vatican City — over 5,000 of them. A quiet, awe-inspiring stop for anyone who appreciates the faith side of our story.
